Welcome to ROLLVENTURE ("we," "us," or "our"), operated at rollventure.com by ROLLVENTURE, a United States sole proprietorship doing business as ROLLVENTURE ("Operator"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The Service
ROLLVENTURE provides city accessibility research, community content, forums, messaging, and optional paid membership tiers (Member, Pro, and Sponsor). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to the disclaimers below.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Service-related emails (e.g., receipts, security alerts, account notices, and responses to your requests) may be sent to the email address on your account.
3. Membership & Payments
- Free accounts may browse the site and read community content. Posting, voting, contributing, and direct messaging require an active Member account.
- Member ($9 one-time) unlocks community participation features. This fee helps maintain the platform and reduces spam and abuse.
- Pro ($19/month) is for merchants and service providers who wish to publish promotional messages in selected cities. Pro requires an active Member account.
- Sponsor ($99/month per city) provides a featured placement at the top of a city page. Only one Sponsor slot is available per city. Sponsor requires an active Member account.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices, billing intervals, and what each tier includes are shown on our Pricing page before you pay.
One-time Member fee. The Member fee is non-refundable except where required by law.
Subscriptions (Pro & Sponsor). Pro and Sponsor are recurring subscriptions. They renew automatically at the listed price each billing period until you cancel. You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal date. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access through the end of the current paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period except where required by law.
How to cancel. Cancel Pro or Sponsor anytime from Account → Billing or through the Stripe customer portal linked there. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
By starting a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms, including our community rules below.
4. Community Rules & Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post spam, misleading content, or unsolicited advertising outside permitted Pro/Sponsor placements
- Share illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate material
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users via posts, comments, or direct messages
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload our systems
- Circumvent access controls or membership requirements
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
All user-generated content may be reported by other users. We review reports and may remove content, revoke membership, or permanently ban repeat offenders by email address.
5. Membership Revocation & Bans
If you violate these Terms, we may remove your content, revoke your Member status, and cancel active Pro or Sponsor subscriptions. Revocation takes effect immediately for posting, voting, messaging, and other Member features.
- Revocation (demotion) — Your Member status is revoked. You cannot post or use community features, but you may restore access by repurchasing the one-time Member fee unless permanently banned.
- Pro & Sponsor on revocation — If you hold Pro or Sponsor subscriptions when revoked, those subscriptions are set to cancel at the end of the current billing period (no immediate refund). Compliant Pro offers and city sponsor banners may remain visible until that period ends, then are removed automatically.
- Repurchasing after revocation — If you repurchase Member access while a Pro or Sponsor billing period is still active, you may resume those subscriptions from Account → Billing so they continue without interruption.
- Permanent ban — Repeat or egregious violations may result in a permanent ban tied to your email address. Banned users cannot post, message, or purchase any membership. Active subscriptions, if any, cancel at period end and will not renew.

6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely to operate and promote the service. This license ends when your content is deleted from the service, except where we must retain copies for legal, backup, or abuse-prevention purposes. You represent that you have the right to post your content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
7. Copyright & DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on ROLLVENTURE infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at support@rollventure.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the material and its location on the site; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove or disable access to reported material and terminate accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the information required under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
8. Paid Placements (Pro & Sponsor)
Pro promotional messages and Sponsor banners are paid advertising, not editorial content or endorsements by ROLLVENTURE. We do not verify every claim in paid placements. Advertisers are responsible for complying with applicable advertising and consumer-protection laws. Your reliance on any paid placement is at your own risk.
9. Our Content & Intellectual Property
The ROLLVENTURE name, logo, site design, curated city data, scores, guides, and other materials we provide (excluding user content) are owned by the Operator or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial research. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our content or data except as allowed by these Terms or with our written permission.
10. Disclaimers
City scores, cost estimates, accessibility notes, and community opinions are provided for informational purposes only. They are not professional medical, legal, financial, or travel advice. Accessibility conditions change; always verify on the ground before making travel, housing, or healthcare decisions. Community posts and reviews reflect individual opinions and experiences, not verified facts.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ACCURATE. USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROLLVENTURE, the Operator, and our suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and ROLLVENTURE from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. To close your account, email support@rollventure.com. We will cancel active subscriptions at period end where applicable and delete or anonymize personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to records we must keep for legal, billing, or abuse-prevention purposes. Public posts or reviews you submitted may remain visible in anonymized form unless removal is required by law or we choose to remove them.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, as described in Section 5, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable.
14. Third-Party Services
The service relies on third parties such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and data), and hosting providers. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, or content linked from ROLLVENTURE.
15. Governing Law & International Users
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
If you access the service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer laws in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract.
16. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the service.
- Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Survival. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) remain in effect after your account closes.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For active paying subscribers, we will use reasonable efforts to provide additional notice (such as email or an in-app message) before material changes to payment or renewal terms take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires your consent.
